Recruiting Sergeant, Horstead, a lovely pub restaurant
Always looking to try new places on each Norfolk visit, the Recruiting Sergeant was our pub restaurant of choice for a Sunday evening meal.
A 12 mile drive through the countryside, via North Walsham, it took a leisurely 25 minutes or so. From the coast, go round the sharp bend at Coltishall, known for the quirkiness of having a garage on an island in the middle of the road, it’s just a few yards further along the road on the right.
